The Bolesławiec County Office invites county residents, schools, non-governmental organizations, parishes and institutions cooperating with volunteers to nominate individuals, companies or organizations they would like to thank for their selflessness, commitment and kindness. Once again, the “Bolesławiec County Volunteer of the Year” competition is being launched. This honorary title will be awarded to those who stand out particularly in volunteer work in various areas of life—culture, sport, social assistance, health promotion, ecology, tourism, activities supporting people with disabilities, and more. The competition is held in four categories: adult volunteer, youth volunteer, non-governmental organization and donor.
Applications must be submitted by November 10 this year. at the County Office headquarters at 12 Armii Krajowej Street. They must bear the note “2016 Bolesławiec County Volunteer of the Year.”
When reviewing candidates for the title of “Bolesławiec County Volunteer of the Year,” the panel will consider in particular:
- commitment to volunteer work
- innovation of activities
- ability to cooperate
- frequency and regularity of activities
- effectiveness and efficiency of the work
- ability to involve and encourage others to engage in volunteer work.
