15 and 16 October Nowy Rynek will transform into Wonderland. Characters from Lewis Carroll’s books will appear in the shopping centre: Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts, accompanied by a fairytale atmosphere and a range of attractions celebrating the shopping centre’s birthday. Visitors will have the opportunity to enter the Hall of Distorting Mirrors or play a game of chess with the Queen of Hearts on a huge board with equally large pieces.
The storybook character Alice will take everyone interested in new autumn and winter trends to the Land of Fashion. Stores from Nowy Rynek will take part in the fairytale fashion show, while a personal stylist will suggest interesting ways to complete an autumn wardrobe. The Queen of Hearts will invite visitors to enter a competition in which the prize will be a makeover worth PLN 1,000 as part of the Birthday Women’s Zone. With the help of a stylist, hairdresser and makeup artist, the winner will transform her style.
– Our shopping centre’s first birthday is the perfect opportunity to celebrate with parents whose children are also turning one. That is why children born on the day Nowy Rynek opened, 14 October 2015, will receive a gift from us. We have prepared starter kits for the little ones, each worth approximately PLN 200 – says Anna Szlaga, marketing manager of Nowy Rynek.
The birthday celebration at Nowy Rynek will also be attended by an illusion star. One of Poland’s most popular magicians and a finalist on the programme “Mam Talent” Tomasz Kabis. He will transport event participants into a world of magic.
The extraordinary atmosphere will be further enhanced by musical entertainment and 30 gift vouchers, each worth PLN 100 and redeemable at selected stores in the shopping centre. A birthday cake will also await the assembled guests.
The birthday weekend at Nowy Rynek will also be an opportunity to take part in the Fashion Lottery. It has already begun, and entries can still be submitted until 22 October. The winners will then be drawn. New owners can win a Fiat 500, televisions, consoles and smartphones. All you need to do is shop for at least PLN 100 at designated fashion stores and take the receipt to the Lottery Service Point on Level +1, next to the Quiosque store.
