The fourth set also went to the hosts (we lost it 20:25). Despite their fantastic start, “Elektryczni” lost 1:3 to the experienced second-league OFM Bielawianka Bester Bielawa in their debut II-league match, but they also showed that they can compete even with the best.

Let us recall that last season the team were led to the III-league runners-up spot and promotion by coach Marcin Sobczyszyn. He also took charge of the newcomers. The second coach was Damian Śliwiński, responsible for the players’ physical preparation and recovery. The club completed its squad for the upcoming season. The second-league team will be based on players from the previous season. In addition, two players were loaned to the team from Ikar Legnica: setter Jakub Koncewicz and middle blocker Filip Michalewski. The last player to join “Elektryczni” was outside hitter Dariusz Tkaczuk, loaned from UKS MOS Opole, who played for the second-league team from Oława last season.

Our volleyball players will appear before their home crowd – for the first time in the new season! – on October 8, when they host SPS Chrobry Głogów. The match begins at 5:00 p.m.. ATTENTION! This season, the league matches of the senior “Elektryczni” team will be held in the hall of Miejski Zespół Szkół No. 2 (Jana Pawła II Street). Details are available on the website of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie.
