The organizers of the festival were the parish and the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special “Commando” Company. The money spent at the festival by residents of Bolesławiec will support the next stage of the renovation of the Marian Sanctuary.
The Skaldowie concert was an excellent idea by the organizers to increase attendance. Many residents came to see the legend of Polish rock. Some refreshed old memories, while others listened to one of Poland’s best bands for the first time. The band was formed in Kraków in 1965 and is known for many fantastic hits, such as “Everything Tells Me That Someone Loves Me,” “Don’t Kiss Me First,” and “The Lovely Cellist.”
