The main aim of the “A Safe Route to School” campaign is to ensure children’s safety on their way to school and to monitor vehicular traffic in the areas around all educational institutions. As part of these activities, police officers also meet with students for talks on road safety, helping them learn the regulations and safety rules.
Police officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec police headquarters met with students from Primary School No. 5 (Municipal School Complex No. 1 in Bolesławiec). Students in grades 1–3 demonstrated extensive knowledge of how to travel safely on the road.
