Especially on hot weekends, a slim man around 40 years old goes on outings around the Gwarek allotment gardens on Piastów Street. He patiently picks out people to target and then exposes himself. The walking path leading from the psychiatric hospital past the Garden Hotel and the forest [...] is, I believe, his favorite place. He walks around there and enters the allotment gardens, surprising people who are completely unaware of what is about to happen. I hope that reporting these incidents to the authorities will resolve this impasse, because people have already had this unpleasant experience several times, and they often come there to relax with their children. I do not know whether he is a pervert, an exhibitionist or some other freak of nature, but his behavior is disturbing and distasteful. I am issuing this warning because this man appears out of nowhere and disappears just as quickly.
We wrote about a similar case at the beginning of August in the article A man exposes himself in public near the Bóbr. At that time, a female reader wrote to us:
I am writing so that someone will finally deal with this idiot, before someone gets hurt one day. My sister was by the Bóbr today and encountered this sight. Of course, she called the police, but before they arrived, he fled, and the police officers complained that they had had to drive through the bushes!
The man (see the cover photo) has not yet been identified. It is not known whether the one “prowling” around Piastów Street is the same person. We cannot speak of an epidemic of exhibitionists in Bolesławiec, the police reassure us. The officers themselves emphasize that every such case should be reported to them. So far, no one has informed the community police officer about the naked man on Piastów Street.
There is a chance that the problem will resolve itself. Forecasters are predicting cooler weather. This may effectively cool the naked men's enthusiasm.
