– Thanks to the involvement of fans, players and partner businesses, we managed to provide gifts to the residents of as many as five institutions – says Przemysław Kacperski, Zagłębie Lubin’s PR officer. Complete school kits were delivered to children from Bolesławiec, Golanka Dolna, Lubin, Składowice and Żary. In addition, each centre was visited by Zagłębie Lubin’s mascots: Mr. Mole and Mrs. Mole. And it was the mascots who attracted the greatest interest among the youngest children.
The entire campaign would not have been possible without the involvement of Zagłębie Lubin fans, Milenium Zakłady Bukmacherskie players, local businesses and, above all, the players from the first and second teams of the “Copper Miners”. The footballers personally shopped for the youngest children, and how Łukasz Piątek and Jarosław Kubicki managed their shopping at the Biurex store can be seen at: https://www.wetransfer.com/downloads/f3663c31086a286f3880fa61a56a193f20160905120235/2a301f.
After the shopping, Łukasz Piątek warmly summed up the campaign: – A really great campaign, which we were very happy to join. During the shopping, we wanted to choose all the most necessary items, and I hope we managed to put together just that. Now the kids will be able to focus on school and their free time.
Thanks to this campaign, the children most in need received complete school kits, including notebooks, drawing pads, backpacks, pencil cases, pens, etc., which will allow them to devote themselves fully to their school responsibilities. Outside school, the children will also have the opportunity to experience football at the highest level, all thanks to invitations to Zagłębie Lubin’s upcoming home matches.
