On Tuesday, Bobrzanie faced the Class A runners-up, Victoria Ruszów. The match was played on the pitch in Ruszów. Bobrzanie’s lineup was: Mirosław Walski, Mariusz Rutkowski, Adrian Markowski, Marcin Kozioł, Sebastian Dymek, Robert Solecki, Paweł Fulczyński, Dominik Soroka, Krzysztof Kozioł (Krystian Wojdygo), Adrian Kulesza, Robert Niziałek (Grzegorz Faltyn).
Both teams—the leaders and the runners-up—entered the match highly motivated to win. The hosts wanted the three points to reduce the gap to the leaders, while Bobrzanie also played defensively. In the first half, a Victoria player surprised himself and, incidentally, our goalkeeper when, after attempting a long cross, the ball lobbed the Bobrzanie goalkeeper and landed in the Bolesławiec goal. Two minutes later, a fouled Ruszów forward won a penalty, but fortunately for Bobrzanie, the hosts failed to convert the spot kick. Still in the first half, the missed penalty came back to haunt them. A Victoria defender, pressured by Bobrzanie’s attack, tried to clear the ball with his head and put it into his own net. The first half ended 1–1.
From the first minutes of the second half, the Ruszów players were determined to score the winning goal at all costs. They had the optical advantage and continually attacked the Bolesławiec goal. The latter, however, defended flawlessly and repelled every attack, while also creating several very dangerous counterattacks. Neither team managed to score another goal, and the match ended 1–1. The point shared was more beneficial to Bobrzanie. Our team maintained a seven-point lead over second-place Victoria Ruszów. Bobrzanie will play their next match in Warta Bolesławiecka.
