The incident took place at around 4:00 p.m. A 44-year-old Volkswagen driver, joining the traffic, failed to yield the right of way to the driver of another car. A collision occurred. Moreover, a third car parked in the car park was hit by the “ricochet.” Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries. The person responsible for the collision was fined PLN 500.
This was the second collision to occur on Sunday, September 4, at the entrance to the Drift Open competition in Osła (Gromandka Municipality). The first occurred at around 11:30 a.m. A 31-year-old Opel driver from Lubusz Voivodeship, while turning left, hit an Audi that was overtaking him. The Opel driver’s wife and their two-year-old child were injured and taken to hospital. However, as we managed to establish, they did not suffer any serious injuries. The people travelling in the Audi were unharmed. The Opel driver was fined PLN 500.
