On Saturday, at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street, Bobrzanie faced Górnik Węgliniec. The hosts lined up as follows: Mirosław Walski, Mariusz Rutkowski, Adrian Markowski, Marcin Kozioł (Piotr Faltyn), Sebastian Dymek, Paweł Fulczyński, Robert Solecki (Krystian Wojdygo), Krzysztof Kozioł, Dominik Soroka, Adrian Kulesza, Robert Niziałek (Grzegorz Faltyn). It is worth noting that Górnik’s lineup included four former Bobrzanie players.
A few minutes after the match began, Adrian Kulesza produced a fine dribble and an accurate pass in the opponents’ penalty area. Krzysztof Kozioł completed the move, putting Bobrzanie ahead. Towards the end of the first half, the visitors had a chance to equalize, but Mirosław Walski made a fine save after a free-kick attempt.
After the break, Bobrzanie returned to the pitch without making any changes to the lineup. A few minutes after play resumed, the visitors created a good opportunity. However, Węgliniec’s captain hit the hosts’ goalpost. As the match progressed, the Bolesławiec players attacked more boldly and put increasing pressure on the opponents’ goal. The visitors’ open style of play contributed to this, as they were trying at all costs to make up the deficit.
Following one such attack, Adrian Kulesza extended the lead to 2–0 with a shot from outside Węgliniec’s penalty area. Bobrzanie had many more chances to score, but unfortunately they failed to convert them. It was only after a solo run by Bobrzanie defender Sebastian Dymek that the hosts managed to make it 3–0.
After scoring the third goal, the Bolesławiec players loosened their defensive shape somewhat, which the visitors immediately took advantage of by scoring. The 3–1 scoreline remained unchanged until the final whistle, and Automatyka collected another three points. Bobrzanie have a seven-point advantage over second-placed Ruszów. These teams will meet on Tuesday, on the pitch in Ruszów.
