The largest and oldest ceramics company in Bolesławiec, Zakłady Ceramiczne „BOLESŁAWIEC”, could not be missing from the exhibition. Visitors to the Museum can see works by Janina Bany-Kozłowska, Barbara Kozłowska-Trojnar, Danuta Amborska, Małgorzata Szewc, Aleksandra Pierzchalska, Joanna Szymańska and Ewa Pięta.
The exhibition is accompanied by an extensive catalogue presenting ceramics producers from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area. A richly illustrated presentation of the history, traditions, achievements and vessels of Z.C. „Bolesławiec” features prominently in it.
“For us, the publication of this book and the participation of Zakłady Ceramiczne „Bolesławiec” in this undertaking are extremely valuable,” said Anna Bober-Tubaj, director of the Museum of Ceramics. “That is because, like everything else, an exhibition eventually passes, whereas a book—a publication in Italian, English and Polish—will for many years delight not only tourists but also all ceramics enthusiasts.”
The exhibition can be viewed at the Museum of Ceramics on Mickiewicza Street from 13 to 30 October, Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 and Sundays from 11:00 to 16:00. The exhibition will then travel to Italy.
