On April 29, the Regional Show-Jumping Competition will begin at the field on Rajska Street. The event will start at 10:00 a.m. From noon, family games and activities, sports and recreational tournaments, and horseback riding for the youngest participants are planned.

During the Sunday event, visitors will be able to learn about the culture and traditions of Native Americans. They will also be able to see what a Native American village looks like, watch Native American and country dancing demonstrations, traditional Native American games and activities, and take part in audience competitions combined with Native American dance lessons. The organizers have also planned gold-panning lessons, lasso-throwing demonstrations and a gunslingers’ duel.

Sports and Recreation Festival in Bolesławiec

On May 1, a festival titled “Great Sports Ho, Ho, Ho” will be held in the sports hall at I LO in Bolesławiec. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. The program includes an Open Chess Tournament, a Football Tournament (the competition will begin with a match between Federacja Młodych Socjaldemokratów and Stowarzyszenie Młodych Demokratów), and a Bridge Tournament (a special tournament for amateurs with many attractive prizes; starting at 10:00 a.m.). During the festival, there will also be prize competitions, good music, performances by talented stage soloists and dancers.

A knowledge competition titled “I Am in the European Union,” held under the patronage of Member of Parliament Lidia Geringer de Oedenberg, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The main prize is a tour of the European Parliament.

Equestrian competition and knights’ tournament in Kliczków

On May 1, Kliczków will host a festival of equestrian sports and knights’ games. The program includes a show-jumping competition, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. At 11:00 a.m., the 6th Knights’ Tournament for the Sword of the Castellan of Kliczków Castle will begin. On May 1, the Gromadka sports hall will host the Volleyball Tournament for the Cup of the Gromadka Commune Head. The teams finishing second and third will receive cups from the director of GOKiS and the president of GKS Gromadka.
