The volleyball players from Bolesławiec have just completed a highly successful season in the Third Division, where they won the runner-up title. They then won all their matches in the semifinal playoff tournament in Mikołów and finished second in the final tournament in Kozienice, winning two matches and losing only to the tournament hosts.
The second place achieved in the final tournament in Kozienice enabled our volleyball players to apply for the Second Division. On July 28, the Management Board of the Polish Volleyball Association approved the final composition of the Second Division men's groups. BTS Elektros was assigned to Group IV. Its lineup is as follows:
- KS Bielawianka-Bester Bielawa
- AZS UAM Poznań
- MKST Astra Nowa Sól
- KU AZS UZ Zielona Góra
- MKS Olavia Oława
- WKS Sobieski-Arena Żagań
- SPS Chrobry Głogów
- UKS Volley Żarów
- BTS Elektros Bolesławiec
- KS Gwardia Wrocław
The senior BTS Elektros Bolesławiec team, which will play in the Second Division next season, will continue to be coached by Marcin Sobczyszyn, who is currently finalizing the squad. We will return to this topic.
