On Saturday (July 30), the BKS senior team played its second friendly match. The game took place at the Water and Sports Centre field on Spacerowa Street. Our team defeated Chojnowianka Chojnów, who play in the Legnica district league, 3–2 (1–1). The match attracted a sizeable group of supporters. As can be seen, the people of Bolesławiec want to watch senior football played by BKS.
The visitors started the match better. Early in the game, a Chojnów player lobbed the BKS goalkeeper, making it 1–0 to the visitors. Józek Pietrzak equalised with a free kick Józek Pietrzak. The first half ended that way. In the second half, Krystian Smolarek put BKS ahead.
When it seemed that nothing more interesting would happen in the match, the visitors equalised at the end to make it 2–2. However, that was not the final goal of the game. BKS launched an attack. Piotr Juszczak set the final score at 3–2 for BKS, beating the goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation.
BKS created considerably more scoring chances than the visitors from Chojnów. However, Łukasz Graczyk was unlucky that day. The BKS player had several good opportunities, but he did not beat the visiting goalkeeper even once. You could say that when things are not going your way, they really are not going your way. We hope Łukasz will show what he is capable of in the next matches. It is also worth noting that Józek Pietrzak came close to scoring a second goal. In the second half, after his free kick, the visitors were saved by the crossbar.
In their next friendly (August 6), BKS will face TS Parzyce.
Update: 2016-08-05
The friendly against Parzyce has been cancelled. On Tuesday (August 9) at 6:00 p.m., BKS will play a friendly in Jędrzychowice. Their opponents will be the local team Apis.
