Thus, prospective students can now choose this field of study through the electronic registration system, which remains open until 4 August 2016. Previously, the application submitted by Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa im. Witelona w Legnicy received a positive opinion from the presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee, which positively assessed the proposed concept and curriculum, the required academic staff, the teaching facilities, including the library collection, and the development of an internal system for ensuring the quality of education, which may also be implemented in the newly established second-cycle studies in finance and management in an enterprise.
The new feature of the programme is the combination of two areas of an enterprise’s operations. As a result, graduates understand and can shape phenomena and processes in both the financial sphere and the management of an entity.
The finance and management in an enterprise programme offers two specialisations:
- corporate finance and investment – graduates have advanced knowledge and practical skills enabling them to manage an enterprise’s finances effectively in the areas of diagnosing and analysing its economic and financial situation, financial planning and forecasting, preparing budgets for investment projects, obtaining EU funding, managing investments and risk, and operating in the banking and insurance markets
- management and innovation in an enterprise – graduates gain advanced knowledge and practical skills enabling effective and efficient management, including innovation management in an enterprise. In particular, the knowledge and practical skills concern financing and managing innovations, developing innovation strategies, process management, comprehensive quality management, integrated management systems, and the concept of lean management.
