Police officers from the Department for Combating Economic Crime of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica, together with officers from the Lower Silesian Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, searched the home of a 24-year-old Legnica resident, where they found imitation console controllers as well as counterfeit underwear.
According to the police's preliminary findings, the man sold at least 500 counterfeit controllers via the internet. The manufacturer of the original equipment estimated its losses at nearly PLN 85,000. The 24-year-old from Legnica who was detained faces up to five years in prison.
