Bait containing the vaccine inside will be dropped from airplanes outside built-up areas. People should not touch, pick up or destroy the distributed bait.

From 2 to 25 May, the following rules apply in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:

  • a ban on hunting game with dogs
  • a ban on allowing dogs and cats to roam freely
  • an obligation to keep farm dogs on a leash and cats indoors.

Any case of human contact with the distributed vaccine should be reported to the health service, while contact between animals and the bait should be reported to the veterinary service. Please exercise particular caution during the vaccination campaign.
