Among Bolesławiec’s secondary schools where the matura exam was already conducted under the new curriculum, II Liceum Ogólnokształcące achieved the better result, with a very strong pass rate of 97.2%. I Liceum Ogólnokształcące, meanwhile, recorded 95.8%. Details can be found in the report on the 2016 matura results in the province.
It was a very important year for II Liceum Ogólnokształcące. Mirosław Sakowski’s school received the prestigious School for Developing Interests and Supporting Talents certificate. It was prepared by the school’s teacher, Beata Ulatowska, together with a team of nine teachers. The program was created to provide suitable conditions for discovering and developing every student’s potential.
One visible effect of the teaching team’s work, apart from the excellent matura results, is the students’ high level of academic activity. Of the more than 400 students, over half successfully take part in various competitions, contests and academic olympiads.
We have been cooperating with II Liceum Ogólnokształcące for several years. We write about the successes of its students and teachers and are always present at the most important events connected with the school. We are very pleased with our partner’s success this year. Congratulations to the talented matura graduates, the school management and the entire teaching staff.
