Residents of Kleeberga Street in Bolesławiec informed us that the street is being reconstructed, but the investors did not provide for additional parking spaces. The head of the Bolesławianka Housing Cooperative Beata Ślęzak explains:
If it had been possible, those parking spaces would have been created. But there is an embankment and a utility network there. The terrain makes it impossible to locate parking spaces there, as this would involve enormous costs. The City Hall, preparing the project in consultation with us, considered all locations where additional parking spaces could be added. We added as many as was possible.
Four parking spaces will be created on Kleeberga Street, including one for people with disabilities. However, we have established that the neighboring Starzyńskiego Street is to be reconstructed next year, and more parking spaces will then be built.
