Young firefighters competed in two events: a firefighting exercise (connecting hose sections, overcoming obstacles, passing through a crawl tunnel, pouring water with portable pumps into special containers, and tying knots with ropes) and a firefighting relay.

Ten Youth Fire Brigades from our county took part in the competition. The City and Municipality of Węgliniec was represented by five teams: Stary Węgliniec (leaders A. Mazurkiewicz and K. Polewski), Czerwona Woda (two teams; leaders W. Błauciak, M. Czarny and P. Olszewski), and Ruszów (two teams; leaders A. Dobrzańska, R. Mesjasz and J. Wilk). The atmosphere on the field was friendly, and the sporting competition proceeded very smoothly.
