Our protagonist Maria is 54 years old and came from Kliczków, where she works as a nurse at a health centre. She took part in the Makeovers for the adventure and to gain new experiences. She does not like going to the hairdresser and has never been to a beautician. See whether she liked her transformation.
Maria has feminine curves in the lower part of her body. She has a medium-sized bust, a slim waist and slim arms. Her body shape is a bowling pin. When you have this type of figure, you should focus on emphasising the upper part of the body (the shoulders), defining the waist and visually slimming the hips.
Hairdresser Aneta Jakieła from AJ Studio Fryzjerskie at 1/2 Piaskowa Street suggested a new way of styling for Maria, a classic example of a woman afraid of change, without changing the hairstyle itself. Aneta revealed our protagonist’s face and gave her a modern look.
Agnieszka Opała from the Magia Orientu beauty salon prepared an interesting treatment for Maria. A massage with Chinese bamboo sticks wonderfully relaxes, lifts, firms and improves the condition of the skin.
Styling for Maria
We chose the styling for our participant at the Mohito salon (on the first level of Galeria Bolesławiec City Center). Maria is wearing a white blouse with a frill at the neckline to emphasise and visually enlarge the shoulders, as well as an A-line skirt. On her feet are block-heel sandals to slim and lengthen her legs.
