The competition is open to children and young people aged 4 to 21. Each creator may submit two works. The works may be made using any artistic technique, including mixed techniques. There are two restrictions: the postcards must be 15 × 21 cm, and their form must allow them to be displayed in a frame behind glass. Naturally, each work should also promote the attractions of our city.
Postcards may be sent to the BOK address by 5 October 2007. The commission will assess all works in four age categories (children aged 4 to 7 and 8 to 12; young people aged 13 to 16 and 17 to 21). The best works will be printed as genuine postcards. The competition is to be decided by the end of October this year. For the turn of December 2007 and January 2008, the organisers have announced an exhibition of the winning works following the competition. The competition is held under the patronage of the Bolesławiec City Office.
