The scenario was as follows: Three masked men broke into the military unit in Bolesławiec. Near the weapons warehouse, they overpowered a guard and hid inside. The SUFO intervention group sent to the scene came under fire from the attackers. One of the aggressors tried to reach another building of the unit, but was stopped and overpowered by a sentry from the intervention group.

The negotiators then began their activities. In accordance with the terrorists’ demand, a delivery van was provided for them, which they intended to use to leave. The police group overpowered and detained the perpetrators as they headed toward the vehicle. The hostage was released.

The exercises proceeded according to plan. The services acted efficiently in the crisis situation, while the organizers and participants recognized the need for further improvement so that, in the face of a real threat, joint actions would be equally swift and effective.
