The Boleslawiec.org service conducted a nine-day poll about the low attendance of supporters at BKS Bolesławiec senior-team matches. The poll received 213 votes. As many as 66% of respondents indicated that the reason for the low attendance is the poor performance of our footballers. 13% chose the answer that Bolesławiec residents are not interested in football. For 12% of respondents, match tickets are too expensive, while 8% blamed the low attendance on the lack of support from the supporters’ club and the match displays associated with it. For only 1% of respondents, unfavorable weather is a problem when it comes to attending the stadium.

The problem of “empty stands” during BKS matches has been noticeable for quite some time. At the most recent match, against Sparta Ziębice, there were no more than 100 people. Unlike in Bolesławiec, many more supporters attend matches in the smaller Nowogrodziec, even though the team plays in a lower division. Perhaps this is because, in that town, a football match is one of the few events residents can attend.
