Within 24 hours, police officers checked 818 drivers and issued 37 drivers with fines for various traffic offences. They seized the driving licences of four drivers (one of them was intoxicated; the others exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by at least 51 km/h).
In addition, seven registration certificates were seized, as well as the driver who violated a court-imposed driving ban that remains in force until the end of August 2016.
