The exhibition will be held at the “W sam raz” gallery. The following will present their work: two ceramics and sculpture studios led by Edyta Orlińska and Mateusz Grobelny, Magdalena Konieczna’s glass and stained-glass studio Magdalena Konieczna, Teresa Bancewicz’s artistic textile studio Teresa Bancewicz and the “Akademia sztuki” art studio of Stanisława Wojdy-Pytlińska.
International victories for the “Akademia sztuki” studio
In 2015, participants in Stanisława Wojdy-Pytlińska’s studio received awards in eight competitions, including two national and six international ones. Some works were recognized internationally as the only entries from Poland. Among the achievements in 2015, particular attention should be paid to the six winners in the international “Europa in der Schule” competition; three winners in the Pentel competition at the 45th International Contest in Japan; four winners in the 13th National Art Competition “Europe, Our Common Home”; a winner of the national competition “International Space Station – Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”; an honorary distinction in the 43rd edition of the International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts in Lidice, Czechia; a distinction in the International Art Competition “Dream Journeys: This Is My Mexico,” organized by the Embassy of Mexico; and a distinction in The 16th International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest Tokyo in Japan.
Studios led by artists
BOK-MCC studios are extremely popular among local residents. More than two thousand children, young people and adults attend classes at all the studios at the center. Entire families come to thematic workshops organized for various holidays.
The instructors leading the classes are artists—professionals who not only inspire participants’ passion for artistic creation, but also teach discipline, patience and appropriate techniques to help them express themselves through art as effectively as possible. Each artist also presents their own work at individual exhibitions.
Participation in classes and art workshops is free of charge. BOK-MCC guarantees a high standard of the activities it offers and professional staff.
