The meeting with Tomasz Lis was organised as part of the project “Save from Oblivion – 70 Years Since the Return of Poles from Bosnia.” It continues a project launched last year as a series of open meetings aimed at passing on our history to younger generations in an engaging way. In connection with the anniversary taking place in 2016, the meetings focus on this commemoration. There will be five separate meetings of various types and formats: lectures, book launches, and presentations of historical materials and publications. Meetings with Tadeusz Jurkowski and Jan Bujak have already taken place. Future meetings are planned with Anna Bober-Tubaj and Marek Szajda.

The project “Save from Oblivion – 70 Years Since the Return of Poles from Bosnia” is co-financed by the Municipality of Bolesławiec through a call for proposals supporting the implementation of public tasks by non-governmental organisations and other entities authorised to conduct activities in the public-benefit sphere in 2016.

The meetings are organised by the Association of Re-emigrants from Bosnia, Their Descendants and Friends. The meetings are held with the support of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre.
