A Facebook event page has even appeared WE WANT A FAN ZONE IN BOLESŁAWIEC Euro 2016!! Almost 300 people follow it, and nearly 200 have already declared that they will attend (as of June 3, 10:00 a.m.). Is there therefore a chance that matches featuring the White and Reds will be broadcast?
There is probably little chance of outdoor broadcasts for a large audience. Fans will most likely have to make do with small fan zones in restaurants or other venues. What is more, as the director of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec, Zbigniew Kowalczyk, told us, neither the centre nor any other municipal institutions are planning broadcasts of matches involving Nawałka’s Eagles.
The reason? Above all, finances. MOSiR had already considered the idea earlier – matches involving the White and Reds were to be broadcast on a large screen at Piłsudskiego Square. It turned out, however, that this involved enormous costs (including the broadcast licence). “That would probably be beyond our means,” added the MOSiR director.

It is worth adding that, according to the dziennikwschodni.pl website, a fan zone was to be organised in Biała Podlaska on June 10. However, a problem arose. It turned out that Polsat TV demanded as much as PLN 5,000 for broadcasting a match involving Poland’s national team—nearly seven times more than during Euro 2012, when TVP demanded PLN 700.
