In order not to wait, they go around them by driving onto the newly built pavement. Everyone does it. Pedestrians and cyclists, to avoid a tragedy, flee into the ditch.” Another user added: “A left-turn lane for those heading to Mrówka must be built there immediately! What is happening there could lead to a serious accident!”
“To improve traffic safety on the above-mentioned section of road, a project to change the traffic organization has been prepared. It involves separating the pedestrian and cycle path from the roadway of provincial road No. 297 by installing U-2 posts and introducing a speed limit of 70 km/h,” says “ii” Teresa Grabowska-Chudy, deputy director for road infrastructure management at the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service in Wrocław.
The traffic organization change project was submitted to the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, which is to approve it. “At the same time, I would like to inform you that, due to the insufficient width of the roadway, it was not possible to create a left-turn lane to the Mrówka market,” T. Grabowska-Chudy added.
