BOK-MCC and CIK Orzeł: workshops, a play and an exhibition opening
- 10:00 performance of “Little Red Riding Hood in Bolesławiec”. Appearing on the Forum stage will be: Little Red Riding Hood – Renata Fredyk, the Dog – Łukasz Jaźwiec, the Dog’s Owner – Łobuz – Dariusz Mucha, Grandmother – Ariel Fecyk, Passer-by and Old Tree – Bogdan Biernat, the Municipal Guard Officer – Łukasz Molak, and the Chronicler – Piotr Klasa. The performance was directed by Urszula Frąszczak–Matyjewicz, an instructor at the BOK-MCC theatre studio. The script was written by Ewa Ołenicz–Bernacka. Admission by invitation only!
- 13:00–16:00 open art workshops, “Children’s Dreams Wind-Swept”. The classes will be led by Czesław Matyjewicz, Edyta Orlińska and Katarzyna Zarówny. Children will have the opportunity to depict their dreams on fabrics using paints, brushes and markers.
- 15:00 dance workshop with the hip-hop dance studio, on the square by BOK-MCC. The group’s instructor, Katarzyna Tomczyk-Jakubowska, will lead the classes for children together with her students.
- 16:30 opening of an exhibition of ceramic works created by children and young people during the 2016 winter holidays at the ceramics and sculpture studio. The exhibition includes 12 mosaics inspired by the sea, including octopuses, sharks and fish. The classes were led by the cultural centre’s instructors: Edyta Orlińska and Mateusz Grobelny. We invite you to the BOK-MCC foyer on the first floor.
- 18:00 Centrum Integracji Kulturalnej „Orzeł” invites you to the performance “Brzechwa for Children”. The show was prepared by Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz, an instructor at the “hallo grupa” theatre studio at BOK-MCC, together with the class participants. Nearly 40 actors from four groups will appear in the performance: ages 7–12, “hallo” ages 10–20, “zdystansowanych” ages 20 plus, and a group of people with disabilities from the First and Second Community Self-Help Centres in Bolesławiec. Admission is free!

We will screen the animated film “The Angry Birds Movie”, with showings at 14:30, 16:30 in 3D and 18:45, as well as “How to Save Mom”, with showings at 15:00 and 17:00.
The animated film version of the most popular game of recent years, “The Angry Birds Movie”, takes us to an exotic island inhabited by happy, colourful flightless birds. The paradise island is also home to avian outsiders: short-tempered Red, fast-as-the-wind Chuck and somewhat explosive Bomb. The idyllic island landscape is disrupted by the arrival of mysterious green pigs...
The Polish animation that captivated the world, “How to Save Mom”, tells the story of Adaś, who spends most of his time playing on a computer. His sister Aneta is a book lover who enjoys daydreaming and dreaming of a fairy-tale prince. For a while, the siblings’ thoughts will have to focus on something completely different. Their mother needs help that only her children can obtain for her. A certain Witch will play no small part in this... Through her magic, Adaś and Anetka will travel to a mysterious medieval land full of fire-breathing dragons, knightly tournaments and castles. The children must find the legendary Golden Drops, which will enable them to make their three wishes—including the most important one: saving their mother.
