Councillors of the Bolesławiec City Council will appear in a play written especially for them, “Little Red Riding Hood in Bolesławiec.” The performance was prepared by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre. The following will appear on stage:

  • Renata Fredyk as Little Red Riding Hood
  • Łukasz Jaźwiec as the Dog,
  • Dariusz Mucha as the Owner of Łobuz the Dog
  • Ariel Fecyk as Grandmother
  • Bogdan Biernat as a Passer-by and an Old Tree
  • Łukasz Molak as a Municipal Guard Officer
  • Piotr Klasa as the Chronicler

In the performance, the Bolesławiec City Council’s councillors will appear in a completely new role: acting on stage. Although working on the production was not easy and required considerable effort, it gave them a great deal of satisfaction.

The play was directed by BOK-MCC theatre workshop instructor Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz. Cultural centre employees will oversee the technical production: lighting by Leszek Rzepka, sound by Krzysztof Korczyński, and the set was prepared by Waldemar Cieślak. The music was arranged by Aleksander Samostrokow and Małgorzata Kuśnierz. The final song about Bolesławiec will be performed by Oliwia Jakubowska, a participant in the BOK-MCC vocal workshop. The script was written by Ewa Ołenicz-Bernacka. The costumes for the performance were made by Rafał Tur. The production was supplemented with short films related to Bolesławiec, prepared by Michał Szwed, an instructor at the BOK-MCC film workshop.
