The time-bar slider available in the left-hand menu allows users to view maps from individual historical periods.
A joint project of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the University of Wrocław has been carried out since 2014. A total of 360 sheets of German topographic maps covering the Lower Silesian Voivodeship from 1880–1945 were scanned. The scanned maps were provided to the University of Wrocław as an archived digital resource, while the Marshal’s Office developed a special module in the Lower Silesian Geoportal, making the pre-war maps available to users. The module also includes topographic maps published after the Second World War. As a result, it is possible to trace changes in the buildings and land use of Lower Silesia over the course of the 20th and 21st centuries.
