Practical and aesthetically pleasing interior design solutions are the dream of everyone who wants their home to be tidy, spacious and, additionally, beautiful. At first, of course, everyone tries not to go overboard with the amount of things they hoard, regularly clears out their wardrobe and checks whether unnecessary and unused items are not lying around somewhere. But at some point there are more and more of these things, and even regular sorting does not help much. What do we do in such a situation? Every home has some room, walk-in wardrobe or spare room where we allow ourselves more freedom and do not watch the order quite so carefully. Such a room has a door leading to it, which needs to be concealed somehow—and the best way to do this is with a photo wallpaper.
Why a photo wallpaper?
The rest of the house is separated from the walk-in wardrobe by solid sliding doors, which we choose at the very beginning of furnishing our apartment. Over time, however, these doors become unattractive, the hallway is boring, and we need a change. This is where a photo wallpaper comes to the rescue; its size can be adjusted to the dimensions of the walk-in wardrobe’s sliding doors. The same applies to wardrobe doors in the bedroom, hallway or child’s room. Such a photo wallpaper is a wonderful decoration in itself, even in the most boring room. Besides perfectly camouflaging the entrance to a walk-in wardrobe or a large wardrobe, it also looks great and definitely refreshes the appearance of the entire apartment. The photo wallpaper can feature a motif tailored in terms of both theme and dimensions to our needs, making decorating easier.
Photo wallpapers are also perfect for small rooms. Quite often, owners of apartments in older buildings come up with the idea of separating a small bedroom from the living room. This is a very practical solution and undoubtedly much more comfortable than sleeping on the sofa in the living room. The disadvantage of this idea is that the living room becomes smaller, but in that case using a photo wallpaper is a good solution. It is worth choosing a pattern that will optically widen or lengthen the living room. Geometric patterns, vertical or horizontal stripes, as well as photo wallpapers that create an impression of depth work perfectly here. These include motifs with clearly defined perspective lines or motifs depicting a distant landscape without a foreground. Typical examples are narrow streets in an old town or a mountain range behind a lake. These solutions will perfectly emphasise the representative character of the living room and make the room seem no smaller than it was before the additional sleeping area was created.
Custom-printed photo wallpapers are worth ordering online, where there are countless patterns and colours to choose from, as well as the option of having a print made from your own photograph.
