Blacksmiths will bring to Legnica works made in their home forges, whose theme is “Weather Vane”. In the park, they will forge a free-form piece (on Saturday and Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and take part in competitions involving hot drawing, a demonstration of blacksmithing tricks and singing blacksmiths’ songs.
This year’s Blacksmiths’ Tournament will be organised in a folkloric style. That is why the organisers have invited the largest and best-known folk and folklore ensembles from Lower Silesia.
On Sunday at 3:00 p.m., the 3rd Blacksmiths’ Run will start over the distance of a “blacksmith’s mile”. Everyone is welcome to take part, regardless of age.
