As Agnieszka Gergont, press spokesperson for the Municipal Office, told us, “there were two designs—either dashboard pads or stickers.” She also assured us that the Municipal Office had never announced that license plate frames would be used to promote the city. Both options had been considered from the beginning. “The price decided it,” the spokesperson added. The estimated price of a pad is PLN 2. A sticker costs only 42 groszy.

The stickers are less durable, however, and therefore less functional. According to Agnieszka Gergont, “stickers are functional too; you just need to clean the license plate properly so that the sticker adheres well.” The spokesperson also added that Bolesławiec residents had reacted very positively to this unusual promotional campaign.

The stickers have been available since 27 March. They are attracting considerable interest from residents of our city. On the first day, several dozen people collected them. They are distributed free of charge at the Customer Service Office of the Municipal Office, but you can also ask for them at the Municipal Office. There will be enough for everyone. The stickers will be continuously reprinted.

Approximately 40,000 cars are registered in Bolesławiec County.
