The final battle for promotion to the second league is underway. Our volleyball players are getting closer and closer to achieving this goal! The “Elektryczni” faced UKS Iflo Kosmet-Hurt Biała Podlaska on Saturday. The Bolesławiec team once again started strongly, crushing their opponents 25:14 in the first set.
Towards the end of the second set, the “Elektryczni” relaxed, and the Biała Podlaska team won that set 25:23. But in the third set, the Bolesławiec players paid their opponents back in kind, also winning 25:23. In the fourth set, after an exciting finish, BTS Elektros defeated their opponents 32:30 and won the entire match 3:1. Congratulations.
It is worth adding that in Saturday’s match, KKS Kozienice defeated the team from Milicz, although the latter managed to take one set from the tournament favorite.
The board of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie thanks both the “Elektryczni” team and the fans. Not long ago, no one even dreamed that our senior team would make it this far. Meanwhile, they are now playing in the final tournament, promoting our city—several thousand volleyball fans have learned where Bolesławiec is thanks to BTS Elektros.
On Sunday, our volleyball players will face the tournament hosts, KKS Kozienice. And whatever the result of Sunday’s match, the “Elektryczni” are still champions in our eyes!
