“Everything Is Possible” is a very moving film that shows two people close to each other, yet telling two different stories about life, choices, and experiences. Teresa Bancewicz began traveling more frequently after the tragic death of her son. How did her husband see it? He stated that she began slipping away from home more often because there was no one to live for or be with...

Teresa travels, meets people, asks them about everything, and gets to know them. She gives herself entirely to traveling. She falls in love—and passionately so—and experiences everything as if she placed no limits on anything that happened to her. Her travels are colorful, full of surprises, and extraordinarily rich. Her husband keeps his feet firmly on the ground and speaks about the world in simple terms. He does not listen to his wife's stories about her travels because they are too long and too rambling for him. He would like to hear about everything in two or three sentences.

Jan Bancewicz died on November 18, 2015. He was a well-known artist in the region, working in graphic art, painting, and woodcarving.

“A film about crossing boundaries—real, national ones (Teresa hitchhiked across several continents), those defined by age (the protagonist is 79 and began traveling at 62), as well as those imposed by one's financial means (Teresa's monthly pension is 900 zlotys), and social conventions (at the age of 64, Teresa met a 40-year-old Greek. Their relationship has lasted 15 years). ‘The essence of traveling is waiting for what may happen to me. It is adrenaline, surprise, the unexpected. I have no obligations. I am free. My desire is to get to know people in every corner of the world,’ says traveler Teresa Bancewicz.”
