On Wednesday, the district-level stage of the competition on the European Union and the scholarship system—“Scholarship Holders on Scholarships”—was held in the conference room of the district office. Barbara Panciszko of II LO took first place, Angelika Kopeć of the Construction School Complex took second place. Ariel Kurkiewicz of I LO came third.
Thirty-nine students from upper-secondary schools took part in Wednesday’s competition. The following participants took subsequent places and received distinctions: Anna Herbut (ZSB), Justyna Hutman (Electronic School Complex), Marcin Kurkiewicz (I LO), Paweł Sulich (Mechanical School Complex), Anna Urban (ZSB), Gabriel Szuter (I LO), Barbara Suszko (School Complex of Commerce and Services).
Prizes were also awarded to participants who took places XI to XX: Anna Wilas (ZSB), Zbigniew Zięba (I LO), Agnieszka Jaworska (ZSE), Małgorzata Ojewska (ZSB), Magdalena Wójcik (ZSB), Katarzyna Wyszyńska (ZSE), Sebastian Burniak (ZSE), Łukasz Nowakowski (ZSM), Katarzyna Jakubowicz (ZSHiU), Zbigniew Kupczak (ZSM).
All participants in the district-level stage of the competition received keepsakes: calendars, notebooks and folders about Lower Silesia. The main prize for taking first place was a digital camera, while those receiving distinctions were awarded valuable books, including multimedia dictionaries and encyclopedias. The competition was organized thanks to ZPORR funds.
