The BTS Elektros Bolesławiec team has reached the play-off final for the second volleyball league. Promotion was decided by the weekend’s semi-final matches played in Mikołów (our volleyball players won all their matches). The “Electrics” make no secret of their joy, knowing that they are now only a small step away from reaching the second league.

From 13 to 15 May, our senior players will take part in the final tournament, which will be held in Kozienice (Masovian Voivodeship). The “Electrics” will face UKS Iflo Kosmet-Hurt Biała Podlaska, hosts KKS Kozienice and MUKS Ziemia Milicka Milicz, a team well known from the Lower Silesian courts.

Our players are not the favourites of the final tournament, but they promise to fight in an effort to cause an upset and gain promotion to the second league.

According to many observers, the favourites are the hosts, whose core is made up of players developed by Czarni Radom. KKS Kozienice are considered one of the strongest teams among the 16 that remain in the battle for the second league

Only the best team will gain direct promotion to the second league, but there is also a possibility that the PZPS may award so-called wild cards to teams that finish second in their final groups, so it is worth fighting for every ball until the very end.

Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec refused to support the team’s trip to the final tournament for promotion to the second league in Kozienice. The club’s board does not comment on this, but thanks Elektros, Hörmann Polska and Chodyra Clinic – Centrum Implantologii i Ortodoncji for their financial support and for making participation in the final tournament possible.
