“We must remember that burglars very often choose cars in which valuable items have been left in visible places. Laptops, cameras, navigation devices and mobile phones left in plain sight are an attractive target for a thief,” Zgorzelec police officers warn.
They add: “If you see strangers walking around the neighborhood and looking into parked vehicles, call us. Thieves become active during the hours when most of us are at work, or at night. If we see people loitering between parked cars, let us not remain indifferent—just make a call. You do not have to provide your personal details. Inform the police officers about what you have observed.”
