Our protagonist, Natalia, is 21 and studies at the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering in Legnica. By taking part in the program, she hoped for a fun adventure and a few tips about what suits her, how to do her makeup and dress every day, and what hairstyle to choose. She definitely did not see herself in ball gowns or wedding outfits; she wanted a light, casual outfit in which she would feel comfortable. See whether we managed to delight Natalia with this makeover.
Natalia has a figure like Ania Rubik’s; this body type is a rectangle. Her shoulders and hips are the same width, her waist is barely visible, and her thighs continue the line of her hips. When you have this type of figure, you should focus on the lower part of the body: widening the hips and buttocks and choosing outfits that emphasize the waist.
Hairdresser Aneta Jakieła from AJ Studio Fryzjerskie at 1/2 Piaskowa Street suggested a new, great way for Natalia to style her hair in the future. Her hair was refreshed and the ends were healthy. Natalia is growing her hair out, so Aneta did not make any major changes to her hairstyle.
Agnieszka Opała from the Magia Orientu beauty salon prepared an interesting treatment for Natalia. Natalia’s skin is acne-prone and problematic, so the beautician suggested a treatment with shikimic acid (an acid obtained from star anise: Shikimi). After this treatment, the skin is more even, the activity of the sebaceous glands decreases, and the complexion becomes more balanced. The face is fresh, rested and free of inflammation.
Shikimic acid is a remedy for problematic skin. It affects the composition of sebum (the secretion of the skin’s sebaceous glands), has antibacterial and antifungal properties, and inhibits the growth of bacteria responsible for acne lesions. Shikimic acid unclogs blocked openings of the sebaceous glands, which reduces the number of skin eruptions.
Styling for Natalia at Bolesławiec City Center Gallery
We chose Natalia’s outfit at the MOHITO store (first floor of Bolesławiec City Center Gallery). Natalia is wearing a simple white sleeveless blouse that exposes the shoulders and a flared, slightly pleated sunray skirt. The high-waisted skirt optically emphasizes the waist, while the vertical pleats add a few centimeters visually. The advantage of such a skirt is its airy quality, which gives feminine movements lightness and sensuality. The outfit is completed by lemon-colored pointed-toe stilettos that slim the legs and the hit of this season: a patch-covered handbag. Natalia should revolutionize the color palette of her wardrobe and choose bright, eye-catching shades: lemon, straw and canary yellow.
Natalia was delighted with the makeovers. She liked the makeup the most because, as she says, it “made a big difference.” She felt excellent in the outfit chosen by Dominika Menegoni. In her new look, she felt like Marilyn Monroe.
