In the second edition of the "Polish-Czech Youth Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium in Bolesławiec", held in August 2006, ten participants from Poland and ten from the Czech Republic took part. Czesław Matyjewicz supervised the Polish group, while Jana Glaserová supervised the Czech group. Sixty-seven works were created. At the Bolesławiec exhibition, visitors can see, among other things, a city, each segment of which is the work of a different author. The sculptures are made of chamotte mass and brick clay. The symposium was held under the theme "Without Borders – A Journey of the Poles".
From 9 to 23 March 2007, the exhibition was hosted by our south-western neighbours in Česká Lípa. The project "Polish-Czech Youth Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium in Bolesławiec" was co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Community Initiative Programme Interreg IIIA Czech Republic-Poland in the Nysa Euroregion, as well as from the state budget.
