The County WKF Karate League, held on April 23 in Gać near Oława, brought together nearly 130 athletes from clubs across Lower Silesia. The students of Robert Bieliński competed in events such as kihon and kata (sequences), as well as fantoм and kumite (fighting). Kihon and kata are demonstrations of traditional techniques arranged into sequences of blocks and strikes defined by the karate canon.

During their performance, judges assess the techniques, stance, strength, dynamics and precision of execution. Fantom and kumite are forms of fighting. Fantom: karate techniques are performed on a training bag—athletes have 15 seconds to present the techniques and combinations used in kumite, in which competitors fight to a 9-point lead. If neither competitor achieves such a lead within the time allotted for the bout (60–90 seconds for children), the winner is the athlete who has scored more points. An additional, fifth event organized for the youngest competitors was an agility obstacle course.

Bolesławiec was represented by 12 athletes: Mateusz Ginter, Mikołaj Olek, Jakub Skóra, Maciej Graczyk, Filip Matusiewicz, Julia Krawczyk, Dominika Grzyb, Karolina Sacher, Arkadiusz Giela, Michał Bieliński, Igor Markiewicz and Wiktor Małkowski.
