Wisła Płock’s junior players won all their matches and advanced to the next stage of the national championships in first place. The Legnica team faced a tougher challenge.

On Friday, our players confidently defeated UMKS PMOS Chrzanów 29–25; on Saturday, they lost to Wisła Płock 29–32. In their final match, on Sunday, they thrashed Spartakus Zielona Góra 35–16.

– We certainly did not show the full extent of our abilities. The most important thing, however, is that we achieved our goal, which was to reach the quarter-finals. It was not easy, because our group proved to be strong and evenly matched – said Siódemka Miedź coach Paweł Wita.

  3. PMOS Chrzanów – 2 points
  4. Spartakus Zielona Góra – 0 points.
