A fourth-year student defeated more than 7,000 students from across Poland on her way to the final. Magdalena’s 51st place among the country’s best young logisticians is an unquestionable success and an excellent opportunity to present herself to potential employers. It also brought numerous prizes and expressions of recognition from the organizers, sponsors and partners of the National Logistics Olympiad.
Attractive prizes and a good start to a career in logistics were also secured by: first on the podium, Jakub Jędrzejczak from the School Complex of Economics in Leszno; second, Adrian Zych from Vocational School Complex No. 1 in Ostrołęka; and third, Izabela Zep from Leszno’s “Ekonomik”.
Young logisticians are already capable of perceptive, analytical thinking, solving complex problems and making important economic decisions—at least in theory. The representatives of logistics companies attending the gala will certainly take care of their practical education, as they are looking among this year’s finalists for candidates for internships, placements and jobs. More than forty representatives of the business world attended the gala ceremony of the 8th National Logistics Olympiad.
Depending on the place they achieved, the Olympiad participants will be fully or partially exempt from tuition fees at the Poznań School of Logistics, and every finalist is exempt from the written part of the vocational examination. The finalists also received attractive material prizes from sponsors and benefactors.
The National Logistics Olympiad has been organized by the Poznań School of Logistics since 2008. Its aim is to stimulate and develop students’ interest in logistics and to promote talented students among potential employers. The Olympiad is the only subject-specific logistics competition in Poland whose finalists are exempt from the written stage of the vocational examination. The honorary patron of the Olympiad is the Ministry of National Education, while its substantive patrons are the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing and the Polish Logistics Association.
More about this year’s National Logistics Olympiad can be found on the website of the Poznań School of Logistics.
