On Saturday, the Extraordinary Congress of the Young Democrats Association was held in Polkowice. The purpose of the congress was to select a new board for the Lower Silesian region. The elections in the association were necessary because the previous board had resigned. The delegates elected new authorities. Damian Czuń, representing the branch from Rudna, became chairman of the region, while Wojciech Kasprzyk was elected vice-chairman. He is currently Chairman of the SMD Branch in Bolesławiec.
Other residents of Bolesławiec active in SMD were also elected to the leadership of Lower Silesian SMD. Grzegorz Przybylski became a member of the Board of the Lower Silesian Region, Łukasz Król and Paweł Przybylski are members of the Convention of the Lower Silesian Region, and Daniel Milewicz was elected to the peer court. During the congress, it was decided that the official program of activities of the Young Democrats Association in our voivodeship would be presented in two weeks.
