The incident took place on April 20 on Pomorska Street in Legnica. The elderly man hit his head on the asphalt. The police officers immediately ran over to him. They saw that he was beginning to bleed.
The man was unconscious. The officers immediately began resuscitation while calling an ambulance to the scene.
The district officers stopped the bleeding and covered the man with a thermal blanket. Moreover, while securing the scene, they positioned their police car across the road and activated its signals to warn other road users.
The man was taken to hospital. The district officers informed his wife about everything. She said that her husband had recently suffered a stroke and therefore might have had problems maintaining his balance.
