The incident occurred around midday in Norweski Park. Several hours later, police officers identified and arrested the perpetrator—a 33-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra Grzegorz S.
On 8 April, based on the evidence gathered, including information about his previous convictions, the prosecutor presented Grzegorz S. with charges. The suspect refused to give an explanation.
Immediately after the questioning was completed, the district prosecutor submitted a request to the local District Court for Grzegorz S. to be placed in temporary custody for three months.
The District Court in Jelenia Góra fully agreed with the prosecutor’s position. The court’s decision is not final. S. faces a prison sentence of at least five years.
