Before the March session of the Bolesławiec County Council, local government officials bid farewell to Piotr Hetel, the longtime head of the Bolesławianka Housing Cooperative. (We wrote about the Bolesławianka president’s retirement in the article Piotr Hetel Retires, Beata Ślęzak to Head the Cooperative.)
P. Hetel:
When I was thanked for my work in 1990, I promised myself that I would never return to the Cooperative. But when, in 1999, I was asked to come and fix what had been ruined, I thought I would agree to three months. And I stayed until the end of February 2016. This year marks 50 years of my working life.
How will you remember the head of Bolesławianka? We invite you to join the discussion.
