Travel without a ticket on Miejski Zakład Komunikacji buses is being offered in connection with the celebrations of "Car-Free Day". Many European cities have participated in the event, which has been organised for six years. Bolesławiec buses will offer free rides on Wednesday, 22 September, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This year, "Car-Free Day" is being observed in Poland for the third time and promotes, among other things, public transport, walking and cycling. The main theme of this year's campaign is children's safety on the road. The event is sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment.
